DermaBoard

Terms of use

Last updated 2026-10-25

These terms are an agreement between you and the DermaBoard team ("we"), who run DermaBoard. By creating an account or using the site you accept them. If you don't, please don't use DermaBoard.

1. What DermaBoard is

DermaBoard is a study aid for dermatology board and residency exams: topic summaries compiled from dermatology textbooks, practice questions, flashcards and diagnostic algorithms.

Not medical advice. DermaBoard is a study aid for dermatology exams. It is not medical advice and must not be used to diagnose or treat patients. Doses, drugs and guidelines change, and summaries can contain mistakes. Always check clinical decisions against current guidelines, the original sources and a qualified colleague.

2. Your account

3. Free trial and paid plans

4. Fair use

Use DermaBoard for your own study. Please don't:

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. If we close a paid account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we will refund the unused part of the plan.

5. Content and copyright

The summaries, questions, flashcards, algorithms and the site's design are the work of the DermaBoard team or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright. Textbooks and other sources are named so you can find the original; their names belong to their publishers, who do not endorse DermaBoard. If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, contact us (below) and we will look at it promptly.

Notes you write and problems you report stay yours. You let us store and use them to run the site, and to fix the content you reported.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep DermaBoard available and correct, but we can't promise it will always be online, error-free or complete. We may change, add or remove content and features. If a change takes away something important you have paid for, contact us and we will put it right or refund the unused part.

7. Liability

DermaBoard is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for exam results, for decisions made using the content, or for indirect losses. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site before it takes effect. Using the site after that means you accept the new terms.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Iraq. We will always try to settle a problem directly with you first.
